Toymaker: This annual favorite in-house science field trip is coming up December 14th! Huge thanks to the PTSA for covering half the cost of this activity for all of our fourth grade students! Notification forms went home in last week's green folder with a request for a check for $8 and volunteer opportunity for this engaging student-hands-on learning!
Cans and Coins Holiday Giving Campaign (by PTSA) for the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. (see attached flyer)
Socks in a Box: See graphic below for this upcoming holiday giving opportunity.
Dress your student for winter weather! We go out to recess even if it is cold so make sure your kids come to school with jackets, hats, appropriate winter footwear and gloves.
November/December book report: Mystery - electronic copy attached to this newsletter. Final report due December 17th. Students should be bringing their book and packet back and forth to school every day! Snowman pieces for the final report are now available in class. The project page on the website has been updated with finished examples - the kids have started bringing in some great looking snowmen!
December volunteer calendar: is attached to this week's email. The December calendar required a lot of changes to work around no school days and conferences - please let me know if you need any adjustments or can't be here on your day. Thanks again for all you do to support our class's learning - we couldn't do it without you!!!
Coming Up This Week in Class: The mystery term is: natural resource. We are completing math Topic 8 (Multiplying by two-digit numbers and 3-digit numbers), continuing opinion writing, creating our Storypath clans and characters, performing RT pieces, and starting new classroom jobs!
