Halloween Message from Mr. Frazier: Students may wear costumes to school on Halloween, October 31st, the theme will be around their favorite storybook character. The mystery word is strait. Costumes may NOT contain any weapons, blood, or gore. Costumes should not be scary and masks/face paint will not be allowed during the school day. Students who come to school in costumes with the above items will need to change. Students will be participating in regular activities for the day, such as specialists and recess, so please make sure they have appropriate shoes and jackets. The Create-a-Country project provides an opportunity for the children to demonstrate their understanding of geography vocabulary and concepts while creating an island nation with an original theme. Most students completed a rough draft together in class (for some this still needs to be done at home before they receive their final poster to work on); the final draft needs to be completed at home. Our Create-A-Country project is due on Wednesday, Oct 23. This is a project for 4th grade hands and minds to complete. Thank you for gently guiding and encouraging your child to do their best work.
