Students are hard at work typing their Titanic story rough drafts on the new Chromebooks (thank you PTSA and last year's auction attendees!). Teacher and students are learning many new things about writing, word processing, Google docs, and Google Drive - what an adventure! This week's goal: Use my writing time wisely while typing and edititing my Titanic Story.
Some items in tonight's Monday take-home folder: Sign and return: Weekly Update, Reading Log (in binder) Review and keep at home: Adjective/Noun art, Ants, math fact tests, Message in a Bottle Writing (some students) Veteran's Day: In preparation for our Veterans' Day Assembly, please let us know the names of veterans in your family. We hope to honor their service by recognizing them on that day. Thanks to all who sent in their names - we want to make sure all are included! At-Home Reading: Students should be reading 20 minutes a night. Monthly reading logs should stay in students' binders, and will be checked every Tuesday. Two nights a week students may use Lexia as their 20 minutes of reading. Archives
