Dear 4th Grade Families, Congratulations to the participants and winners of this year’s science fair! I am so proud that students from our class earned third place for fourth grade! Wahoooo! Congratulations to Kaya, Katelyn, and Ellie! Huge thanks to Morgan Espeland and the many volunteers for hosting such an amazing event! Goal for the week: Finish typing my country report rough draft by Thursday. Some items in this Monday's take-home folder: Sign and return: updates (student self-assessed), reading logs (in binders) Review and keep at home: Math practice pages, math fact tests, art, PTSA/Farmigo online farmer's market information Each student should be reading his/her biography book with a goal to finish it next week by Friday, May 6. Please see the wax museum assignment packet (attached) for specific guidelines. There is also a page on the 4th grade website with examples. This is a long term project with the checkpoints below.

Although we are finding books in the school and classroom library, if your student has his/her heart set on a specific historical person, please feel free to go to the Snoqualmie Library (KCLS). At-Home Reading: Students should be reading 20 minutes a night. Monthly reading logs should stay in students' binders, and will be checked every Tuesday. Two nights a week students may use Lexia as their 20 minutes of reading. Archives
