PTSA Science and Engineering Fair scheduled for March 19 is canceled/postponed.
Materials Request: For our upcoming science topic, students will be tackling an engineering challenge by building models. If you could help us out by snagging and prepping some materials that would be headed for your recycle bin, we'd appreciate it! We could use:
- cardboard (smaller pieces cut from a box would be great - anything less than 12" x 12" will work!)
- Tagboard (again smaller pieces cut from something like a cereal or cracker box would be great - anything less than 12" x 12" will work!)
- egg cartons
- plastic yogurt or produce tubs/containers/clamshells/lids

Coming up this week in class:
Taking our mid-module assessment for our fractions module in Eureka Math, learning about Natural Processes in science, writing opinion essays, reading a historical fiction story and a myth about earthquakes, and choosing new classroom jobs for 3rd trimester!
State standardized testing (SBAC) for 4th grade begins in May. Our testing dates are: May 12, 13, 14, 27, and 28. Please try not to schedule medical/dental appointments or vacations on these days! Thank you!
Math: Our Module 5 covers fraction equivalence, ordering, and operations.
