On the Friday before spring break, our class had the opportunity to celebrate Arbor Day early thanks to Fourth Grade Foresters and Jeff Warren of State Farm Insurance. Thanks to their donation, students were able to plant over 130 trees and learn hands-on about how trees make our communities cleaner, greener, and better habitat for people and wildlife. We reflected on the experience, and here is a sampling from the student thank you cards. The first one is an excellent picture of Mr. Wilson in action with his shovel! Comments are closed.
