Video Link: Chapters 3 & 4 Note on the song Sarah Sings: The lines in the book were written, "Sumer is icumen in, Lhude sing cuccu." I had no idea how to read or sing it, so I had to look it up! It turns out "Sumer is Icumen In" is a very old song from Medieval England. There are quite a few recordings online, but I really liked this one by the Lumina Vocal Ensemble: YouTube Link In the background it shows a lot of the lyrics written in the original Old English, which look really strange now! |
