| Students wrote and illustrated limericks and sense poems to get into the St. Patrick's Day spirit! |
Your children’s report cards are available for viewing on Family Access at 4 pm this afternoon. Their 2nd trimester portfolio work is coming home in envelopes with their green folders today. Please email me with any questions. Yikes!! I can’t believe I only have one trimester left with your children!
Some items in this Monday's take-home folder:
Sign and return: self-assessed updates, March Reading Logs (in binders)
Review and keep at home: Math fact tests, Math practice pages (varies by walk-to-math class), spelling bee entry form (due tomorrow)
Our goal for the week: "I will find facts in my animal book and take notes for research writing."
Newbery Book Report: Students will read a Newbery Award winning (or nominated) book and create a new book jacket for it. Students have all had their books approved, and will receive their "book jacket" upon completion / teacher approval of the packet. The final book jacket is due April 2.
March volunteer calendar: is attached to this week's email. Please let me know if you need any adjustments or can't be here on your day. Thanks again for all you do to support our class's learning - we couldn't do it without you!!!
