Since I probably won’t get a newsletter out next week, I’ll take this chance to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving. I am so grateful to work with your wonderful children in this supportive community. I hope you enjoy some quality time with your “little blessings” this Thanksgiving! See you at conferences!
Our goal for the week: "Get my Fantasy / Sci-fi book approved by Friday."

Coming Up This Week in Class: The mystery word is: physical map. We are working on 2-digit x 2-digit multiplication in Envisions Topic 8 & 9, reflecting on 1st trimester learning, setting goals for 2nd trimester, continuing our WA state desk maps, wrapping up "Cinderella" and message in a bottle stories, creating snowflakes, practicing Fantasy Readers' Theater pieces, choosing and beginning Fantasy / Sci Fi books, and learning about science investigations with the Toymaker!
In our partnership to ensure success for your child, good communication is critical. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at [email protected]. I’d love to hear from you and look forward to working with you this year.
With thanks,
Emily Larson
