Our goal this week: "Read my mystery book 20 minutes every night, and bring it to school every day." (If finished with the book: "Use my mystery book to do my best work on the report.")
Some items in this Monday's take-home folder:
Sign and return: Weekly Update, Reading Log (in binders), Titanic Reading Quiz, Geography test. The mystery word is: setting
Review and keep at home: Math fact tests, Math practice pages (varies by walk-to-math class), math property posters, object art, directory cover art contest form.
Mystery Book Report: Mystery books and packets should be coming back and forth to school every day. Time is occasionally given in class for this work, and students miss out when they forget their book or packet! Students should be reading their mysteries and planning to finish the book by the 24th of October.
Individual Picture Day Wednesday, 10/15 (Grades 3-5): Remember to dress nicely! Photo forms due 10/15 for those interested in ordering photos.
