An updated draft of the parent-teacher conference schedule is attached to this week's email. I'm looking forward to sharing 1st Trimester progress and getting input from families!

Fantasy Book Report: Our book report for October is Fantasy! Students should have the packet in their binders and bring their book back and forth to school every day. For more information and examples, see the project page on the website.

Coming Up This Week in Class: We are starting math Topic 4 (Addition and Subtraction of Whole Numbers), completing our Titanic narrative published drafts, measuring water quality in science, practicing and performing Readers' Theater, working with our Washington State desk maps, creating fall leaf oil pastels, and continuing our read-aloud study of Cinderella stories!
