SBA: Please see the attached letter from Mr. Wilson about the upcoming SBA assessments. 4th grade assessment dates are 4/21, 4/28, 5/6, and 5/13. Please try to avoid absences on these dates if at all possible. Makeup days will be available for missed testing.
Hot weather clothes in Room 19: The kids and talked today about some of the temperature challenges in our room, which gets hot, hot, hot on sunny afternoons. As our weather warms up, short sleeve shirts under a removable sweater or sweatshirt will help keep students cool and comfortable for afternoon learning. Shorts or skirts are also a great idea (Casual shorts/skirts are allowed but must be longer than fingers when hands are put to the side) but shoes/sandals need to be closed toe so kids can still run and play safely at recess.
April volunteer calendars: is attached to this week's email. Please let me know if you need any adjustments or can't be here on your day. Thanks again for all you do to support our class's learning - we couldn't do it without you!!!
