May Scholastic Reading Club Order: Fliers went home in today's take-home folders! To place an order, go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs, select "parent" and Continue. You'll need to create an account with your own user name and password (if you don’t have one yet), and use class activation code GPZ63 to connect to our class order. Books will be delivered in 1-2 weeks after the last day to order. As always, our class gets free books and materials with every online order placed. Thanks in advance for helping us expand our classroom library and programs! The last day to order books is today: Monday, April 20th. If you have any questions, please let me know.
No Bus Passes for the Rest of the Year: We are down to one bus combining both of our routes so there is no space for extra kids to ride home with friends until the end of the year. Please let your families know about this. If kids are going home with a friend, parents will need to pick them up at school.
At-home Reading: Students are expected to read 20 minutes a night, with a goal of 100 minutes each week. Your signature is required on their weekly minute totals every Monday evening. I will be checking for signatures every Tuesday morning.
Social Studies: We are will take our test on the early people of the Pacific Northwest coast on Friday! Students have completed a yellow study guide, and our class copy is posted online.
Making Up Instructional Time Lost Due to Snow Closures
