Thank you so much for all of the kind words, compliments, class supplies, library books, and goodies last week! I feel very spoiled and appreciated. I am especially excited to head to Molbak's and pick out some new plants! I've already put several of the gardening tools in my basket to very good use. :-) THANK YOU!!!

Our state standardized testing (SBAC) for 4th grade begins in May.
Our testing dates are:
Tuesday, May 15; Wednesday, May 16; Tuesday, May 22; and Wednesday, May 23.
Please try not to schedule medical/dental appointments or vacations on these days! Thank you !
Mrs. Heinz-Betts’s morning math class continues on Tuesdays and Thursday at a new time, 8:30 – 9:00 am. If students are going to attend, please make sure that they have already eaten breakfast so that the entire half hour can be used for math prep. If they are participating in intramurals, they should not come to morning math class. Thank you for your understanding.
SBA Morning Math Practice
Mrs. Gose is offering a weekly SBA math practice class in her classroom (room 19) this Thursday and next Thursday (5/17 is the last session) starting PROMPTLY at 8:40 until 9:00. This is meant to be a review class for students who need a bit of refreshing on key 4th grade math skills. It is open to all children who may need extra practice regardless of who their teacher is. May Scholastic Reading Club Order - last one for the year! The mystery word is calcium. Fliers went home in last Monday's take-home folders! To place an order, go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs, select "parent" and Continue. You'll need to create an account with your own user name and password (if you don’t have one yet), and use class activation code GPZ63 to connect to our class order. Books will be delivered in 1-2 weeks after the last day to order. As always, our class gets free books and materials with every online order placed. Thanks in advance for helping us expand our classroom library and programs! The last day to order books is today - May 14th). If you have any questions, please let me know.
